What is the status of ICCN 2020 Conference and Exhibition, London?
ICCN 2020 has been postponed to early March 2021 at the Imperial College London due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Why has ICCN 2020 been postponed?
The ISNCC Board of Directors put the health and welfare of participants and the local host community at the forefront of its decision making. The increasing risk assessment regarding the spread of the COVID-19 and the travel restrictions that are changing daily led us to take this decision. We are also aware that domestic and international restrictions were impacting the ability of many colleagues to participate.
When and where will ICCN 2021 take place?
ICCN 2020 has been postponed rather than cancelled. The ICCN Conference and Exhibition will be held in London on 28-31 March 2021.
Will my hotel room reservation be refunded?
If you have made a hotel room reservation within the official block of the conference partner hotels; the Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt, your reservation has been transferred to 28-31 March, 2021. If you have any further questions, please contact ICCN2020email@example.com.
Will my airfare be refunded?
Please ask your travel agent/airline and let them know you are cancelling or modifying your booking due to the postponement of ICCN 2020. The responsibility for airfare bookings and refunds falls outside the scope of ICCN 2020 and will be dependent on the type of fare booked and any travel insurance coverage.
I am planning to attend ICCN 2021 in London--can I simply transfer my registration fee to ICCN 2021?
Yes. The conference is postponed rather than cancelled so your registration can definitely be transferred at no cost to the event in early March 2021. Should you change your mind or be unable to join us in March 2021, your registration fee will be refunded, less the administrative fee of $150 USD. Cancellations received after April 1, 2020 will not be fully refunded and are subject to the standard cancellation policy.
Can my conference registration fee be refunded?
Yes. Your registration fee for either full or single day can be transferred to the next year's attendance or can be refunded in full, less the administrative fee of $150 USD. The transfer of your registration fee will guarantee the 2020 registration rates. Registration rates for 2021 are subject to change. Please email ICCN2020firstname.lastname@example.org to request a full refund by April 1, 2020. Cancellations received after April 1, 2020 will not be fully refunded and are subject to the standard cancellation policy.
Transfer of your registration to another person is permitted by re-accessing the original delegate's registration via the confirmation letter and replacing it with the new delegate’s details.
Will my pre-conference workshop fee be refunded?
Yes. Your pre-conference workshop fee will be treated in the same manner as full or single day registrations as listed above.
I am an exhibitor and/or sponsor--will my fees be refunded?
We hope that you will commit to exhibiting and/or sponsoring the conference in March 2021. If yes, then we will transfer your booth booking and/or sponsorship and guarantee the same conditions and place on the floor plan as had been confirmed for 2020.
If you do decide to cancel your booth booking/sponsorship and let us know by April 1, 2020, we will refund you fully. If you do then decide to join ICCN 2021, we will not be able to guarantee the same location on the floor plan and/or sponsorship package. Exhibit/sponsorship rates for 2021 are also subject to change. Please email ICCN2020email@example.com with your decision by April 1, 2020.
Can I transfer my exhibit and/or sponsorship fee to ICCN 2021?
Yes. Your exhibit and/or sponsorship fee from ICCN 2020 can be transferred to ICCN 2021. As such, the exhibit/sponsorship fee will remain unchanged and we will guarantee your booth location as per this year’s floorplan and/or your sponsorship items. Please email ICCN2020firstname.lastname@example.org with your decision by April 1, 2020.
As an exhibitor, I shipped materials to London for distribution at my exhibition area. Can I get this material back or can it be used next year?

Will I be able to move my abstract presentation to the 2021 program?
Presenters of accepted abstracts who registered for the conference as well as presenters of accepted abstracts who withdrew before our decision to postpone the conference will be eligible to present in the 2021 program if they complete the survey* that was emailed to them by April 1, 2020. Accepted abstract presenters who had not registered or confirmed their participation, will not carry over to the 2021 program. A call for additional abstracts may be pursued at a later date if required. If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

Will I have to resubmit my proposal for a pre-conference workshop?
No. Please let us know by April 1, 2020 if you would like your workshop to be considered for inclusion in the March 2021 program.
Is it still safe to travel to London if I want to meet partners even if ICCN is not being held this year?
The decision to travel is your choice and you are responsible for your personal safety abroad. At the time of writing, the risk of transmission of the COVID-19 virus is currently assessed as moderate in London. Check the United Kingdom health authority websites for the latest information.
